We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of improving Domain Rating (DR) through real link building campaigns.
If you know how to find relevant, authoritative sites, pitch effectively, and land quality backlinks, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Additional SEO improvements are welcome of course, but second to link building. 

We’re not hung up on credentials; we care about results and clean, relevant links.

 

About This Position

We’re seeking an SEO specialist who is really good at Link Building to raise the Domain Rating across our network of 14 active city seminar sites, with several more launching in the months ahead. Our sites currently sit around DR 7-8, and our goal is to build them up toward DR 20-30 through consistent, high-quality link acquisition. You’ll:

• Research and identify relevant, authoritative link opportunities for each city site – local business directories, chamber of commerce sites, industry associations (SHRM, ATD), staffing and HR networks, and local news or blog outlets.
• Pitch and negotiate link placements with webmasters, editors, and site owners.
• Prioritize relevance and editorial quality over volume – we care about DR improvement done the right way, not spammy or low-quality links that could hurt us.
• 40 hour a week commitment required. We want to measurably improve our DR on multiple websites.
• Track link building activity, outreach volume, response rates, and placements in a shared tracking sheet.
• Monitor Domain Rating and backlink profile changes across all city sites using Ahrefs.
• Coordinate with our SEO Specialist to align link targets with each city’s ranking priorities.
• Report progress on a regular cadence – links placed, DR movement, and pipeline of prospects.
• Attend a recurring check-in call.
• Identify and make other key SEO improvements on our various websites = on page / off page 
• Give SEO related tips to our AI Content Creator so he can make better, more SEO friendly pages

 

Required

• Proven track record of building backlinks that measurably improved Domain Rating on real websites.
• Experience with outreach-based link building – identifying prospects, personalizing pitches, and closing placements.
• Strong understanding of what makes a link valuable versus harmful – relevance, site authority, editorial context, and avoiding link schemes or spammy directories.
• Exclusive 40 hour a week commitment. Measurably improve our DR ratings on multiple websites.
• Familiarity with Ahrefs or similar tools for backlink analysis and prospecting.
• Ability to work independently across multiple websites and niches simultaneously.
• Fluent English with strong written communication for outreach and pitching.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with spreadsheet-based tracking.
• Available for a recurring check-in call.

One major goal is to raise the DR ratings for our 14 city seminar websites from 6, 7 and 8’s to 20+.using link building and other SEO methods. “White Hat” methods only. Also important is to fix errors on each site that may be preventing higher ranking or causing other issues. 

We would also like our Topic Hub pages and individual seminar pages on each city site to rank better. Our AI content creator can make the pages, but real SEO guidance would be a big help.

Compensation

This position starts at $700 USD per month.

The Job

We need an SEO specialist to fully fix one of our city training sites: ( one city site will be provided) 
This is not a report-and-recommend job – we want the issues actually resolved: backlinks cleaned up and technical problems fixed. If you find a problem, you fix it.

Background
Inquiries across our network of sites dropped to zero starting August 1, tracking closely with a known Google core algorithm update. Diagnostics so far show impressions dropped sharply right around that date, pages are still indexed (not deindexed), and click volume is low relative to impressions. A backlink audit on a comparable site in our network found the vast majority of backlinks were spam. Page content is being addressed separately by our internal team, but we want backlinks and technical health fully cleaned up and confirmed solid regardless.

What You’ll Do

1. Backlink Fix

• Full backlink audit for each site
• Identify toxic/spam links vs. legitimate ones tied to our own campaigns or content
• Build and submit disavow files in Google Search Console for each site — actually submitted, not just prepared
• Document what was disavowed and why

1. Technical Fix

• Fix crawlability and indexing issues
• Fix Core Web Vitals / site speed issues within your control
• Fix schema/structured data problems
• Fix internal linking issues
• Confirm Manual Actions are clean in GSC for each site

1. Verification

• After fixes are live, confirm indexing and monitor for early signal changes before calling it done

 

What I Need From You

• Copies of your full SEO audit report for the site(backlink report, technical report) — I want to see your actual findings, not just a summary
• A before/after verification summary once fixes are live
• One walkthrough call to review the completed work

What’s Next – If This Goes Well
This is a proof-of-capability project. If the work on this city site is complete, well done, and shows real improvement, we have 11 additional city sites currently online and in need of the same fix work, plus ongoing SEO work beyond that.

We’re expanding to 70 city sites over the next year or so and want to add a talented SEO specialist to our team in the Philippines. This can turn into a long-term relationship if the first site is handled well.
